PASTORAPPRECIATION
October is Pastor Appreciation Month. We have one of the hardest working pastors in the nation in Pastor Terry. We’re so excited to be building a new facility, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you soon. However, during the period of construction on our new home, Pastor Terry has been fulfilling the role of jobsite foreman, as well as accomplishing a number of tasks necessary to make our dream a reality. That’s the kind of pastor we have. Pastor Terry and Lynne are mighty warriors of faith that will stop at nothing to see our church reach goals, milestones, and fulfill the mission and vision of our church that God has placed in their hearts to see lives changed through the passionate pursuit of the presence of God. Pastor Terry and Lynne are firm believers in the power of the church body. Liberty has always been a place where its members can feel confident that their spiritual, emotional, physical and tangible needs can be met. That culture comes fully from the heart of Pastor Terry and Lynne. If you have been to our church for even a short period of time, and have expressed a need; chances are an attempt to meet that need has been met, and been met by Pastor Terry and Lynne themselves.
Hebrews 13:17 says, “Be responsive to your pastoral leaders. Listen to their counsel. For they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare. Contribute to the joy of their leadership, not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you. This year we want to make sure that Pastor Terry and Lynne understand just how much we appreciate all of their hard work for the church, and for God’s Kingdom. We want to affirm their vision for the church and let them know that their leadership is making a difference in our lives.
